Bellower by Kevin-Studios
So I randomly get incentives to create well thought out designs for alien fauna. This thing doesn't really have a name or a world to belong to but it was worth getting a spot online. So, roughly the size of a smaller elephant, these guys are gentle giants for the most part. They have a build similar to animals on earth, though their muscles are much more visible than earth's.  They sport tiny eyes to scan the environment for predators and the males have two massive tusks for sparring with other males. Each side of the head has a sac that is filled with air to help create the loud, distinguishable bellows that make the species recognizable. These sacs are also part of the respiratory system, the nostrils are on its chest where on earth, the clavicle would be, all of which lead to a single powerful lung. The head is also where the reproductive organs are, concealed in the bottom half of the head, both males and females have penis-like organs that conjoin during mating for the exchange of sperm. So where's the mouth for eating? It's that thing in between the back legs. The retractable organ has whiskers to help it scan the swamps for the unique fungi, waterplants, and plankton-like animals that it eats.

Pheww...hope someone actually reads that nerdy description. Anyways, Kosemen and Vega were easily my biggest inspirations for making this. Cheers
Soldier by Kevin-Studios
First photobash!! Had lots of fun though I spent like 6-7ish hours. which isnt terrible cause i did it in two sittings. But here you go, a future soldier. Had tons of artists for inspiration and am pleased at how many awesome stuff you can come up with this method of working. Not to mention its really efficient too. Cheers!

first full acrylic painting ive ever done. its difficult...but rewarding. This was done for my exploration of Mediums class so are subject matter was a free card. So here he is in all his baroque splendor. Didnt do too much editing in photoshop other than fix the exposure and colors that were lost when originally scanned. And pushed the saturation of the blue light just a little. sorry for the recent hiatus, more to come soon! cheers!
Ok, while I've been on break for like 6 weeks Ive also worked and that killed the amount of days I have to make art. but I do have a lots of goodies for you kids and wont be able to show you until I have access to my schools large scanners next week. but I assure you its neat stuff! I've been expanding my horizon lately, especially with subject matter and mediums. But I'm wanting to take a break from that and work on what I've always been good at. Dinos and creatures. So stay tuned!

I'm currently a junior at the Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in Illustration. I'm fascinated by a lot of things, especially paleontology, science fiction, and art. I'm expanding my subject matter and am learning to enjoy it, so sorry I'm not sticking to just dinosaurs and dragons like I used to.
Current Residence: Savannah, GA
